Our History
Joe Bosancu and John Carlson teamed up to start HEARTLAND FLOORS
in 1996. Joe had been in the business since 1990 and John since
1987. It takes people who aren't afraid of hard work and who
have the heart of an artist. You need both 'When Quality Counts'.
Since its founding HEARTLAND FLOORS has delivered the kind of
quality that discriminating homeowners expect and we remain true
to bringing the very best products and services of the industry
to your home. Both of John's sons and Joe's brothers have worked
in the company and now Joe's sons are joining in. There is always
someone on the job who is either part owner or related to the
family. That way customers can trust that their homes will be
cared for properly. Choosing a hardwood flooring company for
your personal home can be a daunting task. We're here to take
the guess work out of it for you.

We treat your home with respect and care and people love it.
WE ATTEND TO THE DETAILS. We expect everyone who works in your
home to treat it like they would their own home. We take the
dust with us when we go. If you want a cleaning crew to dust
whatever is left we can arrange for that as well. The people
in charge of working in your home are either part-owners of the
company or related family members so you can relax. We show up
when we're scheduled and we finish in the allotted time. A hardwood
floor often has many miscellaneous items that need handling like
a refrigerator with an ice maker or a toilet. Sometimes the baseboard
moldings need to be carefully removed and reinstalled or even
replaced. Occasionally a section of an old floor may need to
be replaced and doors need to be pulled and reinstalled. These
are things we handle every day so you don't have to. We're the
hardwood flooring company that can do it all for you.

to see the product in your home. You be the judge. Pay day is
when we finish the job. You look at it; check it out, and then
you write the check. Even when you want 1500 - 2000 square feet
of new hardwood we supply the wood, the nails, the vapor barrier
